Questions?

What is Halo?
Halo is a gender-focused hackathon (social coding event) open to all Girl Scouts. We’ll come together for a day to discover the joy of code, build awesome projects, and share them with one another!
What if I've never coded before?
That's totally fine! We'll have beginner-friendly workshops and mentors to help you out.
So...how does a hackathon work?
In a hackathon, you can attend workshops, make projects with friends, and have fun!
How many people can be on a team?
We totally understand the urge to be in a team with your whole troop, but we recommend teams of 2-4 people. Or you can submit a solo project but still hangout with other cool people at Halo!
Who is organizing Halo?
Halo is organized in public by teenagers just like yourself at Hack Club!
How much does Halo cost?
Halo is completely free! The entire event is covered by Hack Club and Girl Scouts.
